Girls Night!

Saturday Night, February 25, 2017

On Mosaei Shabbat, over thirty girls from the youth minyan gathered in the בית כנסת for a night of fun creating high line jewelry, dinner and enjoying each other’s company. Rabbi Tawil addressed the girls, explaining to them the significance of their role in the Jewish nation and encouraging them to continue to involve themselves in all that the בית כנסת has to offer. All the girls had a great time. A special thanks to Mrs. Rachel Tawil for bringing her jewelry expertise and creating a great night of fun and art.

Post Winter Break Ice Skating Trip!

Saturday Night, February 11, 2017

Mossei Shabbat on February 11th, The Youth Minyan hosted a family friendly ice skating at The Aviator and it was a resounding success. We had over 150 people in attendance! The kids and parents were glowing with excitement gliding across the ice; some on their two feet and others on their knees! We have experienced tremendous growth in The Youth Minyan this year under the direction of Rabbi David Tawil. Our next event will be a girls only event which will be announce this coming Shabbat in our Minyan. We have seen an increase in girls attendance since the beginning of the year and are proud of this accomplishment.

                                         September 25 ,2016

This past Sunday boys and girls from our congregation went out to help package food for the needy at Aishel Shabbat. They were really energetic & did an awesome job helping out. It was inspiring for all who attended. Special thank you goes out to all of the adults who pitched in, as well as Rabbi David Tawil for running this event.
